So, this one needs some explanation: At Bronycon this year, writer M. A. Larson was asked whether there was an episode idea he always wanted to write, but never got to. He mentioned that it was a running joke to the writers that Applejack had a rival named "Pear Steve". For whatever reason, this idea has continued to be hilarious to me, and so I couldn't resist drawing Pear Steve. I imagine Applejack having this irrational hatred for a kind, hippie-like character who also wore a hat, farmed, and just happened to prefer pears to apples.

Also, since Pear Steve isn't a character that actually exists, I had to take a crack at colouring him. Unfortunately, I'm colour-blind. What you see is the painful result of this =P Do let me know how hideous he looks to those who can see colours properly XD
