i'm on a remixing binge here... :)
This one was relativly easy as I found a midi file for it...as it is too complex to do it by ear.
One of the first songs you here in Final Fantasy X and X-2. Enjoy! ^_^

Good God, dude. Do you want a tissue? You want someone to stop posting stuff just so YOU can get more attention? Talk about one self-centered twat.
He has every right in the world to post what he wants, whenever he wants, and as often as he wants. You could very well do the same, but you're apparenly more focused on your wounded ego than your music talents. Everyone has someone to compete with.... it's a fact of life. Be a big boy and deal with it.

Actually, would do you think you are saying here? You were keeping a polite tone by what you were saying, so I will, too.
I really think you have an ego problem. What do you think allowes you to judge what music is good and what is not? I know RDs music for some time now, and I am watching him because of it. I also jumped to your account recently, and I cannot say I like what I was listening to there. Yes I have to say you do complex things, who knows, maybe more complex sounds than RD does. But what makes you say this music is not good? You cannot say this, because anyone has another definition of good music, and if it is not good for you, if you don't like you can say so, but you don't tell the truth when you say "this music is not good". I said I don't like your music, because it is not my taste. But I didn't say it is no good music because I think there are many people out there who do think so. As well many people love RDs music, including me. Of course, RD does music sometimes, I also am no fan of, just because his spectrum of sounds is wide, and one cannot love all of this. We both, RD and me are much longer on this site than you are, and we just have seen many good artists. I be honest, though I don't like your music it doesn't sound cheap, but you have your style. And others do have their style. I am sure it is RDs style what you don't like. RD already told you this, I'll repeat it kinda - you first have to mess with the music authority on this site, these are some:
Fox Amoore
Raving Dragon
DJ Temper
Ben Anderson
Benzi
These are not all of course, but some of the best. You think only why you study music, you are the hell better than others? I'll give you an example: I love graphics. One year ago I started my graphics apprenticeship, the problem is: Already before I entered there, my skills were much higher than anything they teach us there. That means that apprenticeship is useless to me. So I got good graphics skills. But, if I made it your way, I would go around and call anyone no good artist if I don't like his work, and not just because I am studying graphics, that this makes me a better artist! That you study music, does not mean you are a better artist than anyone who did not study it. I think that was not hard to understand.
I suggest you not to tell people anymore, that they should stop making their art because you think it is not good. You will earn enemies that way. I am not meaning me, I just take part of the discussion, but as someone says such a too general thing like you did, I gotta try to tell how things are. I am not perfect as well, but I want to be as good as can become. A really good artist gives support, trying to help one making his music better. And if you see no way to give him tips because his music entirely is not yours, than better be quiet. Be honest, did you think because you simply say him he should stop that he agrees "oh yeah, just because it's you I'll take your word". You should have said nothing in this fact, if you cannot give useful critiques. Because heavy complaining is good for nothing and as said, you should be careful with this at people on here: Some are very sensitive and can really get pissed off when you do this.
Finally to say, the quality of music does not have to depend on the effort someone needed on it. There are very heavy artists they put together a better track in 5 minutes than you can do in 30 minutes! I am also not the worst artist, but I be intelligent enough to say there are many better ones - they do a better image in 5 minutes than I do in 1 hour.
So that from me should have been some useful critique on your behaviour and your view on things. I hope that helped somewhat, though I don't expect it to. If you want to discuss with me over these facts, I am very communicative and we could discuss for eternity if you want.

On the internet, people can be rude, people can be annoying, people can be yelling at you as much as they want, but the only thing, what really pisses me off, is such a little jerk who thinks who's the greatest on such a site... Only because he's studying music or whatever he thinks he automatically is a better musician than others - no way! It is all the way about experience, my current apprenticeship is the best example: I study graphics there, but all my private knowledge about the graphics things are higher than enything I learn in this apprenticeship. So RDs music also can be top-class without have studied music or what...
Little asshole... I hate that guy, and I will always again support artists, which are anoyed by such a freak. I don't give a shit on what causes his idiotic behaviour, it is just the most dumb reaction one can show.

Very nice! I like the sound of it, very well done.
One thing I must say though is with out the vocals, or main melody, it's not as catchy as it could be. I listen, and I hear what sounds to be like a music box playing the melody. If you could bring that out a bit more I think this would be really great! I know be cause I've sung this before on an occasion or two. I've also heard the the track on it's own with out vocals and the melody of the voice really does it justice as opposed to just the music alone.
Overall very nice!

It seems that this "debate" has been settled by Media Fox, but I will add my two pence because I am not a fan of those who criticise those who do something they like with comments such as "Your music sucks". Flat out comments like that are hardly constructive, criticse indeed but rather than just outright telling someone they're bad, suggest ways in which they can improve. For the love of the Gods no one starts out perfect and anyone who thinks so had better be selling platinum records within a week or they've just been shitting themselves. As an artist who is supposedly skilled in what they do shouldn't you advise and guide the newer and less experienced artists, help them become as good as they can be, not dishearten them from trying again. Another point is the matter of taste, sure a piece of music sounds like a pile of crap playing a harmonica to you but what if it's not in a style you like, it could sound pleasent to someone else, so take that into consideration before flat out mocking someone for their art.
These opinions are not directed to one person in particular, but they are for anyone who even thinks of insulting or putting down another persons work in a callous manner.

Alright, I've been messaged and asked on Chat programs about this thread, normally I don't like stepping in and typing huge essays because I simply don't have the time to say my opinion and deal with things like these (I get enough criticism from real life critics in Magazines and newspapers.) Though fortunately, it's a sunday night and I've got the evening to myself.
First off, I don't think the music is that bad at all. Not because I think it's technically sound, like it has some nice major 7 harmonies or some perfect cadences, no. It's because I like what I hear. Like most people, even though I'm a musician, I still enjoy music for what I hear and feel, rather than what diminished chord goes where. And, I liked what I heard here.
As for Antaeus, I respect his enthusiasm, but the hard reality is, there are many, many people better than him, and many people better than me. I've toured many a country, met many musicians, some of them world class, John Petrucci, Will Lee, Rick Wakeman, I've seen and talked to them all, but you know what? They were nice, modest and eager to get to know me. With an attitude like yours, from one musician to the other, you stand no chance of making it, unless you become a popstar (I've found that they are harder and more arrogant to work with).
RD... Good work, and don't let this stop you.

Wow...what controversy...if this was in the tabloids, you'd be famous! Its interesting how people are....so much wasted energy. But anyway, definitely wish that Square had decided to put you on their payroll! You'd have made such a contribution to the game...
Lovely, RD, lovely!
