I wanted to see that movie today but I couldn't find anyone to go with, and going to a movie alone is sad. :P Got a lot to do tomorrow so I'll have to wait 'till next weekend, it seems. >.<;

Hrrrrm.

The soundtrack bothered me. I can understand the desire to want to use older music in the vein of Simon and Garfunkel and even Jimi Hendrix, the music seemed a BIT too light hearted and out of place at times. Granted Bob Dylan's 'The Times They Are A-Changin'' was actually damn appropriate, Ride of the Valkyries later on in the movie seemed like a cop-out in favor of something more epic. Then again EVERY war reference is supposed to use Ride of the Valkyries, so I'm not one to talk. I can't help but feel they could have put more effort in the soundtrack use. Great songs on their own, but ill-placed.

Good movie overall, but still had nothing on the graphic novel. Rorschach's trademark craziness translated well I have to say.

Agree completely with the soundtrack actually. In the cinema I went to, when "Ride of the Valkyries" started a few people actually laughed. Thinking it was supposed to be a joke scene or something. Pretty much everything you said, was expected more original tunes in general.

Only thing that didn't translate well in my opinion, sugar cubes.
