Holy hell, 3 months later he finally pulls a rabbit out of his ass. Been busy working/exercising/catching Pokemans.
I digress, this piece has been in the works for a damn long time, mostly due to modifying Roses and Violets designs to a more human like appearance. Also me trying to do up a piece sans line work, as with the last piece of Rose I felt that the line-art was keeping it back. So I endeavored to do as much without the bold lines, using them only to emphasize facial features/faces I still suck at, waah.
Violets facial expression was one of the first things I actually got down comfortably, Roses was the last ironically.
Context wise I really wanted to draw a human Rose and Violet, to show off the designs that will make an appearance in the comic. As the pair break into other universes as a shortcut for point A to B and so Rose can get up to shenanigans. Seeing as how a pair of 6 foot, brightly coloured, horned monotremes would stand out a bit in some universes, they can don temporary disguises. To Violets displeasure it can't shrink down all her appendages as much as she'd want.

More specifically Rose has the technology that she got from eldritch troublemakers by supplying them with "content", much of the eventual story has them running "errands" for them in exchange for more reality bending technology. The society of drakes are semi advanced, sort of the whole 'any advanced piece of technology is indiscernible to magic kind of thing', they're not traveling space or the lizard-esc Jetsons kind of advanced. I've got it that all drakes have a sort of super power of some kind, Roses is multiplication and Violets is undefined, but most instincts point towards her being superhuman.
Well the tech an shrink them down too, so Violets more like 5'10" in a human like form, but as a standard most drakes are a foot taller then a human.

hmmmm..... i am feeling very curious about this species of yours OuO they look interesting and i like the concept that you have the developed so far, they can have special abilities, but also they can use advanced technology if they have the chance.
since i practically dont have any new character for dirty stuffs and my brain doesnt have too much ideas.... i dont know... maybe i could make an OC that is part the Drake species XD

Happy to have people curious, still early days with the whole concept as I wanted the story to focus on Rose and Violet and not get bogged down by lots of world building.
Since I have the two gate crashing other artists universes I see no harm with people making up their own in mine, even if I encourage people to craft ones from scratch. As I've made up characters before in other established properties and found it more fun to make up my own without the limitations.
However I list of some stuff that I have got down and that I'm liking the sound of. Drakes are monotremes, they're mammals that lay eggs. They come in a variety of colours but they all come from the original drake races that come in; blue, red, yellow, white and black. Drakes usually can live up to 300 years. Drakes have a biology similar to humans sans for the fact that they lay eggs and instead of intestines they have a different organ that produces a chemical that fuels their abilities. For the most part any chemical that comes out of their body is this stuff and replaces most others except for during a day every month where the organ shuts down for pregnancy purposes.
This chemical when introduced in other species acts as a super elixir of sorts, letting them live longer and healthier, so drakes are considered on top of the food chain, and the other species either try to kill them or submit to them as "slaves"/concubines. Drakes often engage with other drakes to replenish their own strength and abilities, Rose being an example of somebody on the height of that example and Violet being the example of a walking nuclear plant.
The other races include classic fantasy staples like; centaurs, elves, mermaids, amazons, etc, but with my own twist on them. There was also lots of humans at a time, but they started rebelling and hunting drakes down like whales, but the drakes retaliated and now they're otherwise endangered.
And there's tonnes more I'm sure, that gets really specific, but I'll let you process that paragraph.

well, it will be a character that i will use for dirty porpuses or funny stuffs, she is not going to be related with the entire universe that you want to make with Rose and Violet, the only thing that they will have in common is the fact that they are from the same species, ya know nothing canon -w- she will be like a mercenary or bounty hunter that goes on the galaxy making troubles XD
besides that i really love the desing, cuz they doesnt look like the tipical long muzzle reptile creature which is good and the fact that theres an explanation of where their abilities comes from, like organs that they have, and not the fact that they have powers just because they can.
also theres another question, did this species has more like Violet? you know shemales... or... ehh.. futas? (i dont know the freaking difference -w-;;) or Violet is a special case .3.
besides that i really love the desing, cuz they doesnt look like the tipical long muzzle reptile creature which is good and the fact that theres an explanation of where their abilities comes from, like organs that they have, and not the fact that they have powers just because they can.
also theres another question, did this species has more like Violet? you know shemales... or... ehh.. futas? (i dont know the freaking difference -w-;;) or Violet is a special case .3.
I sort of have their homeworld based in the Andromeda Galaxy, just because considering the distance from the Milky Way, it could logically exist and you wouldn't know it. I also don't know if they're a space faring race, seems a touch too advanced.
Well I like connecting all my things under a plausible umbrella, there's always some out there scientific explanation for their abilities and technology.
I envisioned Violet as a special case, as in she's only like that because a cosmic horror thought it'd be funny. And her shy, reserved nature comes from a history of abuse for being different, she's not covered in scars 'just because'.
