I think told you before about hate is a very strong word for portugueses and it's not used unless for extreme and radical situations.

I don't have anything against lucario. But also nothing nothing to favor it. I just think that thing has more love than actually deserves

I feel the same way about Pikachu :P

Is "ódio" such a strong word ?
I can perfectly understand, as I tend not to use the French equivalent often for the same reasons.
(The French word, "haine", is also very strong. But, as people tend to "sully" words...)
(And, the original Latin word "odi, odisse" which means "inspire hatred" was originally created to say "inspire such violent disgust that you want to litterally kill the thing or foe that inspires such feelings".)

That's what we feel about that word. Even people who swear in a daily basis (which is disgusting btw) don't use that word any often.

(And I am a man that swears often, but only when I talk to myself. I've known people who couldn't speak a single sentence without swearing (in a proper sense !!). They were so disgusting that, everytime they spoke, it was like they were vomitting mud-composed words.)
