I have rather mixed feelings about Pokemon go. I've always played the games for the combat system more than anything so the simple tap as fast as you can thing really kills it for me. Plus were I live the gyms are all in rather bad places. Basically if you go to one here you are asking to get mugged. Though I do look forward to sun and moon and would love to friend you on the ds.

But in all seriousness, if Bandai Namco were to make some sort of Digimon clone of Pokémon GO, I would so be all over that since I was into Digimon way more than Pokémon. I never made it past 2nd gen Pokémon Silver/Gold.

Hehe I'm into both myself, though I stopped watching Digimon after Frontier, though I have picked up Tri.

I skipped gen 5 altogether myself.

From what I hear most of the criticism I hear is from there not being a national dex in this game. But as I've never "caught 'em all" anyway it doesn't matter much to me.

I need to get back into Go. I've fallen off recently.

I enjoyed gens 6 and 7. My friend is getting bored because he thinks the games are getting easier to beat. Less of a challenge. But hey. When the game drops an exp share in your lap near the beginning of the game, and you know how to do what I call rotation training, and type match. the game is a lot more smoother. You are predisposed as an adult to think through your team's type roster before settling on one. As a kid you just go with the coolest one to you. So if you have a bad team combination then of course you're going to have a harder time of it.
