Would lower the eyes, make the upper eyelids slightly rounded (or add more to the crown but the eyes are probably easier to adjust; hyenas' faces are kinda smushed under their foreheads), beef up the zygomatic processes so that they're slightly wider than the mandible, make the alar folds narrower than whatever the inferior portion of a hyena's nose is called http://img.tfd.com/vet/thumbs/gr272.jpg

That being said, it still looks like freaking amazing. I'm super fond of the texture so far. The ear shapes are perfect and the expression is bright. Are you planning on leaving it as one piece, or is the mouth going to hinge?

Oh awesome, thank you! It's been tough figuring out that ears shape. It is going to be a a one piece mask, so no moving jaw is planned for it.

What kind of clay do you use?

It's a reusable oil-based clay called "Monster Clay."

Ill have to look into that. Do you happen to know how it compares to Jolly King? Im not 100% happy with the consistency of the clay I use now. Havent heard of Monster Clay before.

I haven't tried it, so I can't say.
