Since the 1990s CTI has been developed the Apex military android, the initial product was much like the Terminator. A simple drone controlled remotely by computer that could be deployed into a battlefield. The initial version proved successful, and by the mid 2010s the corporation has become a massive arms developer for western nations as well as the world's largest robotics corporation.
At the center of all of this is the Apex Units, the most advanced line of androids ever created by CTI, with a quota of 300 to be build for the 2016 introduction of Version Four. Each large grouping to be sold off to major western countries, supplied with a stealth plane to transport them to their respective deployment zones. However all this progress comes a tidal wave of terrible things.
Ever since it's founding after the second World War the company has pushed for further involvement in the arms industry, testing their products on live volunteers, and experimenting in ways they shouldn't with Artificial Intelligence technology.
Now with CTI having contracts with several nations and working shadowy collaborative deals with other corporations, one stands as an enemy to this corporate empire, the rogue Apex Version 3 prototype: Meer.
An army of corporate influence, androids, politicians, government agencies, and more stand in the way. Even more is the coming attention of the United Nations Bureau of Superheroes.
The android must learn to play solely on her enemy's turf, and take the fight straight to the technology giant.
In the end, there can be only one at the top. Only one Apex.
