"i dont have a name for this character but they are a member of a species of dragon-like creatures called Leykeepers that tend to the earth’s ley lines, keeping them protected and enriched.

they don’t have a set appearance and usually bear a passing resemblance to local fauna – this particular member lives in the southwest of the north american continent. though the species can look very different from individual to individual, these rules always apply:

=generally dragon-like body (four limbs, long muscular tail, horns)
=never have wings
=have a head resembling a mix of local herbivores and a body resembling a mix of local carnivores (so, they never have hooves)
=outlandish colors are only found in tropical variants (remember: location appropriate design)
=have short to long fur, not scales or bare skin
=has a mane and tufted tail"
