My is Days of Futures Past in how they blended the original actors with the those of the new one. Though its rather hard to keep the story line straight with all the new and possible future character layouts. I mean with Jean letting go of the Phoenix toward the end of Apocalypse could have given her batter control of it so she won't go raving mad later on.
Surely DOFP has cancelled X2 or part of it, at the moment that Cyclops and Jean are at the school again at the end... but even Nightcrawler enter in the team in "Apocalypse" in a way rather different than X2, so we can assume that with the movie they just restart the franchise!!
I thought it was interesting or a bit confusing how they included the same building from X2 in Apocalypse, though the one thing that seemed confusing to me is why that guy's eyes change color after they fished Wolverine at the end of DOFP, I mean was that really Mystique? And if so how did she know about the weapon x program? Or even worse could that have been someone else.
Yeah, you are right, Striker is Mystique at the end of DOFP so she should know about Wolverine and Weapon X on Apocalypse, but truly speaking, i didn't remind if those things matches, i've seen DOFP a couple of time and Apocalypse just one and, in Deadpool words: "X-Men Timeline is so confusing!!"
That's about the only thing I don't like about X-men is that the time line is never in sync, not like with the Disney Marvel which are better connect with a more flow with each movie. Personally it would have made more sense if he was a completely different mutant and how managed to hide himself from that one guys scanner. I really like Deadpool, regardless of all the blood and violence the humor really adds a great balance. Say maybe I should set up a commission with Red wearing his outfit...minus the mask of course.
