The Mason Motors R-T-T (rebadged)...
Back when
sharra did the original portrait of the Mason Motors R-T-T, she did a great job on the car... but the logo of Artie wasn't quite what I had in mind.
So, when you need a jaunty mustelid, to whom do you turn?
Why, long-time Dallas Brawl contributor
frenata, naturally, who did a bang-up job on the logo redesign!

Although I honestly wasn't thinking of that cartoon, I did refer to Artie as "The Motoring Mongoose" a few times. Enjoyed doing the commission -- the first one I've ever done using Photoshop, and the first I've done at all in a looooooonnnnggg time.
Mike says the back end of the R-T-T looks like a Karmann Ghia. Was this intentional?

Family Herpestidae (mongooses, kusimanses, and the meerkat) has 32 species. Previously, these were placed in the family Viverridae. However, Wilson and Reeder (1993) established the herpestids as morphologically and genetically distinct from viverrids. They are extant in Africa, Middle East and Asia. All have non-retractile claws. They are smaller as a family, ranging from 1 kg (2.2 lb) to 5 kg (11 lb), and typically have long, slender bodies and short legs. Diet varies based on species size and available food sources, ranging from small mammals, birds to reptiles, insects and crabs.
If you like Meerkats, Sure! The Matriarch has a passion for wearing black velvet or velour, depending on the weather.
