Chapter Five: Concert

The night for it had finally come. While Jayjay was excited to see Nicholas perform, Kayla the kangaroo was coming to see her idol be at it. She showed up with Zill and Jack somewhat early because their friends Lance, Alexis, and Drake had told her that Nicholas wanted the kangaroo to meet someone. Everyone had a pretty good idea who it was.

In a room a certain female performer was getting ready but stopped when she heard a knock on the door. Opening showed Nicholas. "Nicholas," the female responded. "To what do I owe this visit?"

"Celestina, I came here with a fan of yours; if not the biggest one." The vixen looked and could see Kayla hardly able to contain herself. "This is Kayla; she's wanted to meet you for awhile now."

"Very nice to meet you," the older female responded with a smile. The kangaroo just let out a squeal and hopped forward to shake hand and paw.

"Oh my god! I can't believe I'm meeting you!" It took a bit to calm the younger female down but it was managed. First Kayla learned a little bit about what Celestina had to go through with being the pop star she was. Then the older female learned that the kangaroo was a performer and singer at her school.

Too soon the time came for the concert to begin. Celestina would be a female singer, while Nicholas was the main male one. Flint would be doing the regular guitar, Rick the bass unless Nicholas needed to do so for some songs, in which case this guy would do the regular guitar. Jack also played another guitar as well. Alito ended up doing precision and electric keyboard while Granite did the drums. Jayjay and Kayla along with the kangroo's friends were all at the front row for the best spot. When they came out all those that had come applauded and cheered. When it had died down Nicholas spoke into the mike.

Everyone had recognized the song and thought the band had sounded great. It was a good song to start a concert with. Jayjay had just been impressed by Nicholas with his singing. The two could work well together if they sung together. Celestina then came out to many shouts and whistles after he had stepped to the side. She was going to sing next. After the intro the vixen began to sing into the mike.

When it was over she received the biggest cheer from Kayla. Nicholas came back out and there were more songs but none where he played the bass. But the next one that stuck out for some was after a bit. "This one is one I recently found," the male explained into the mike. "And in some ways I bet it can relate to some of you when it comes to that one girl who you can't seem to tell how you feel." With that the concert was over. Nicholas thanked everyone who had come and promised there would be another concert soon and CDs would be made of this event. Jayjay in the meantime figured the time had come for some of her clan sisters to come to this place. They would enjoy it.
