I've often seen pictures of kitsune with the flames floating around them (I never understood what those were supposed to be) but I've never seen them as little kitsune kits....that's just adorable. Aww look one's trying to get into your bag

I must say, this is a VERY lovely piece of artwork, despite my late response on it for just finding it today! I really love the style you used, giving it a very fine japanese design to it, and those lil' spirits are so cute. <3 Also, that IS a Shakujo.. correct? I've not seen one with barbed trim round the ring, but it seems similar to one due to the rings that hang from the sides, which is tradition for battle monks, as it always gives a chime when they walk. o.o.... <3
