After seeing  Basch's wonderful picture for Lilwolf (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18390291/ ) with its wonderful example of submerged taur anatomy, I simply had to get him to try drawing me and my mate,  chakatswiftrunner doing our own selfie.

Basch primarily draws masculine, husky men, so I wasn't sure how well he could do herms, but I think he knocked it out of the park. I love how I look masculine and feminine at the same time, and he even captured Swiftrunner's vivacious, enthusiastic personality without even having met hir. Though there's apparently one thing Swifty thinks he got wrong: Apparently, were this to happen in real life, he would be giving bunny ears between my fennec ones.

This picture is one of the many reasons I started growing my hair out IRL, and feeling more comfortable with myself as being nonbinary. It means a whole lot to me personally and I wish I could find the words to tell Basch how much I appreciate him venturing out to do this for me.
