In the latter portion of my hike through the Malcolm Knapp UBC Research Forest, on Tuesday, I encountered a row of five cedars all spray-painted with PRIVATE. They were standing as sentries in front of a 1/2 acre section on the NW corner of Goose Lake that was inhabited by several camper trailers and trucks. Who they are, or what they are doing in that section of the forest, I have no idea, but my guess is either a research crew camp, or film industry.
