"A splendid fate

I feel like I should say something about this one, but I have no idea what it is, so instead I'll stick to character and ramble a bit. This came about more or less from my inability to focus today in class until I scribbled this down in as rough a form as could still be called English. Shards of this have been distracting me for days now I think, I just couldn't quite grasp at them til today.

That happens to me sometimes, a tiny piece of inspiration will lodge itself in some mental crevice and I'm stuck picking at it til it eventually comes loose. I'm sure that sounds just a normal to everyone else as it does me...
