I'm alive, I promise! Late June/Early-mid July is always kind of a wild card in terms of crocheting, as I'm always traveling then but I do take my yarn with me. For this doll, the head, front legs, one back leg, and the tail were made while I was in Pittsburgh. The last leg, body, and neck were made back here at home in Florida!
This is the first time I've tried making a tie. How's it look? Does it look alright? Oh also, I made the transitions of color on the body a little choppy to help give it the appearance of fuzziness. I figured it might look a little more organic that way. Yeah?

The muzzles are a separate piece that gets sewn onto the head ball. The funny part is that vombatiformes and I were just talking about that a few weeks ago. He's the one who taught me how to crochet, and he does the muzzle and head all in one piece. We were commenting on how it's strange that we each do it differently!
