When I was a teenager I drew a lot of tortured characters. In distress, being torn apart, you name it. It was probably a mix of venting out teen-angst as well as a genuine interest body language/anatomy/etc. I grew away from that stuff being the majority of my art (I think?), but now and again it's fun to indulge in a characters torment.

Also I genuinely liked this character, despite how short her appearance was. :P
