I have always longed for a piece from you and NOW I DO I CAN'T BELIEVE IT ARGHHHH
I'm stunned by this. By Reika's elegant appearance, her down-to-earth grace-- you captured it so well. I love how serene she looks, how poised, regal even.
But what I just simply adore the most is how you drew and coloured her kimono. It is simply astounding. The shades of soft pastel green and jade, it was just exactly what I had in mind. The accents of pink and the floral border just about made me squee in delight! She looks almost more Korean than Japanese actually looking at how you drew it, which is don't mind at all because in my head there was always something more Korean/Chinese about Reika than full-on Japanese (and I'm also some parts Chinese so that adds to the meaningfulness of this piece)
Where do I begin on those flowers ;_; I commissioned you because I just HAD to get something with the signature way you draw flowers. And I'm not disappointed-- those lush, soft pinks! Those sweet, rounded roses and the floral pins in her hair, the twinkling beads just add such dazzle to her

^u^ I'm really glad you like it, it was a lot of fun to work on as you know I adore floral themes. Especially when roses are involved.
The korean/japanese thing is most certainly by accident though, as I was mainly shooting for something vaguely asian (because kimono) and maybe just a tiny bit elvish, cuz that's just me. lol Anyway, glad it could cheer you up after a shitty week, things have been tough here too so I certainly understand. x.x

My goddesses she's stunning... *o* I just cannot. stop. staring. in awe... I seriously can't wait till the day I can drop the money on a commission of my own from you of my 'sona Jade. You are my #1 favorite artist Luthien. Please, never stop gracing the world with your amazing talent.
