This is such a wonderful picture to look at!
You've balanced the colors and tonal range on each of the colorful subjects so well that it doesn't ever feel off-putting. Looking at them all is almost like looking at a bunch of candy!
Most hot spring pictures tend to have a dark night-time background, but you've chosen to have a brilliant sunny mountainside with grassy green plantlife. I find that way more appealing than the lifeless snow and rocks seen in typical hot spring setting.

Each one of the characters has a happy or satisfied expression, and the steamy clouds imply warmth coming from the clean water. All this comes together to make the image feel so cozy and inviting. It feels like somewhere you'd want to be!

I think my only criticism is that the only rocks that -are- here are perhaps too softly shaded-- they appear surreal or stylized and aren't as convincing as rocks, looking more like rock-colored pillows. but even that still just lends itself to the cozy feeling. :)

I'd love to have this as a print hanging on my wall! :D Truly one of my faves of yours!

I feel you on the rocks.I'm not very good with rocks (or wasn't, maybe I could do better now).
And the shading I'm also not very happy with overall. Like I focused on the characters and background individually but not as a whole. I just feel like I could do a lot better on it, but hmm maybe I'll remake it with the same (or almost same) cast, heheh.
Also it is a print~ Not that it matters, just bringing it up hahaha.

Ah no need to be too hard on yourself. Any problems with the shading weren't noticeable since the lighting and tones were kept all pretty cohesive. And sure you could probably do better now, but it's not like that makes this one any less great. :3

Also I must admit the second onsen image I've done is just as you described, the dark and snow haha. But the colors overall are more my kind of colors.
But that's only a personal preference. I want to do more green and yellow pics. I have a few characters that fit those colors but only like 1-2.

It's still WIP but I honestly don't know how to preview a store before it goes live so it's just kinda up now hahaha.
Everything on it should be accurate as far as I know, but I haven't triple checked everything.
We're always trying to add new inventory (although slowly), so we're going to try to update it regularly. :>
(It's also good for listing OOAK items if we ever decide to make something and sell it.)
