Whew, I've been meaning to do this for some time now and I finally got around to it. And, as climactic as it is, this took up the LAST page in my sketchbook. Once I started working on it, I just had to finish it. A brand new character reference for my baby, Linda. Here's some basic information you need to know about Linda:
Some of you may look at Linda and say, 'Wait a minute, Foxes aren't colored like that! And they have sharper snouts.' You would be correct in that statement. Linda actually isn't a pure-bred fox. Her grandfather is a cat making her a quarter feline. As such, she has inherited a number of more feline qualities, like her shorter snout, white gloves and booties instead of black and a tendency to swish her tail at all times. Her fur is also very sleek like a cats, meaning her fur is almost always form-fitting. Linda goes nude from time to time but for the most part, she prefers to wear clothing. When she is clothed, she likes skirts and t-shirts as they muff up her fur the least.
She lives by herself in a small home in Seraph's Neighborhood. She makes good money in middle-management at a Patent Office so her home is always very clean and well-furnished (even if her room gets rather messy). Linda works early in the mornings which regularly gives her all of her afternoon to do things like socialize with the neighbors or tend to her impressive garden. She leisurely dates but hasn't really found anyone she can comfortably settle down with (being that she's still secretly in love with Seraph). For recreation, she usually goes to fine dinner parties or hits up the club with some of her friends (polar opposites, I know). Her lifestyle often leaves her feeling lonely as she can't seem to settle with anyone she truly loves, especially when deep down inside she just wants to make other people happy. It causes her to suffer from bouts of depression which she keeps secret from everyone. To everyone else, she's always bright, happy and optimistic.
I could go on but I'm sleepy. Linda, like all my other characters, is very complex.

Yeah i know it takes some time... Five years you say?
Whoa, so much in so little time. Ive been drawing stuff now myself for two years and i have at least got the hang of lineart!
But my traditional skills are still lacking i think... And shading is my greatest enemy ever...

by the way, Linda's working in a patent office sparked an idea in my mind: A sociopath, enigmatic scientist anthro, living in a den in deeps of this forest that the patent office of yours is located in. inside of den is fully equipped with all kinds of tech devices.
and the best part is, this anthro's race is asian camel, which ll be quite original I think.
so, if it s okay with you, my guy will apply to the patent office that Linda works in to make his inventions get approved.
but I bet you dont wanna see a sociopath camel anthro scientist in Seraph's neighborhood XD
Well I m asking anyway :)
ps: sorry for any grammar mistakes.

wow this is cute... i wish i could draw like that... then again, im not an artist, cartoons are more of my thing. could you tell me how to upload pics? i tried but its just an empty box with an X in it. by the way, your my favorite artist, it even says so on my profile!
It's a well done reference... but i'm surpised that she can get depressed from being lonely. I can relate to that kinda easy. But one thing for sure is that she won't be alone forever. Sooner or later she will find someone. But from the "depression" part of the description, I could do a tribute to this in some way, such as an emo or goth version of her to show depression she carries inside.
Definitely. I like that her appearance has remained pretty much consistent. Especially when a character has such an appealing look, like she does and is also supposed to represent a hybrid (kinda) of two different species, which in my experience can really cause prompting for alterations and such.
And she's just plain cute and lovely looking all around.
