Kundudo is a flat top mountain located in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. The summit area is a flat grassland and is the habitation of the only remaining feral horse population of East Africa. The herd is less than ten strong and is threatened by extinction.
The Kundudo Horse is the oldest known feral horse population in Africa.
Originally I was going to paint a zebra, but I was over the black and white from Bamboo Music. The colours aren't as strong in this, but I'm still happy with the result. The bird in the sky is a black kite.
