You know, I got to reflecting upon the popularity of trance. It's truly baffling, truthfully. One the one hand, you got stuff like Above and Beyond selling out a few years ago, but then you have people like Armin Van Buuren abandoning association from the genre to the nth degree. As EDM's popularity drifts from it's current pleteau, I think trance (and EDM at large) will still retain a following, albeit an underground one, if I had to wager.

All I know is that, even when I was still being made fun of for listening to 'techno' (which was the pre-2010's-uneducated-midwesterner's catch-all for anything electronic-sounding), I loved this genre of music, and wanted to make music like it.

Even if it turns into something else entirely, I still think it will be something I fall in love with.
