Drakken wanted his dragon self looking a little more bulky and masculine than standard, sprawled out in a fat lazy lizard's natural habitat of being out in the sun (and apparently something's roused him from his state of chilled relaxation - I wonder what it could be!).
Gosh damn cold-blooded lizards can't even heat themselves up properly!
