Seven years after Vivian's disappearance, Clint had her declared legally dead, and for the first time in all those years, went out on a date with a struggling actress by the name of Lami Aba.

Clint only wanted Lami for a rebound, and was perfectly upfront about it with her. Lami did not mind, however. After all, its not everyday a handsome billionaire wants to take you out to eat.

Unlike Clint's previous relationships, the shortest of which lasted for two years, the one he had with Lami lasted only a few months. What Clint didn't know, however, was that his sudden fling with Lami badly effected 13-year-old Ferin, who actually had competed with her own mother for Clint's attention while Vivian was still around. The notion of her father being in a relationship with another female caused Ferin to lash out (and make a few bad choices). Eventually she ended up realizing that Clint's romance with Lami was only a short-lived fling, and she settled down. Though this did force Ferin to realize that her father probably would date again, and she couldn't behave the way she did once he did.
