Canadian SnowBirds, EAA 2016
The Canadian Air Force Snow Birds Aerobatic Demonstration Team showed up to EAA, the first time in 33 years. Flying CT-114 Tutor training aircraft, this 9 plane group thrilled the Oshkosh attendees with their aerobatic skills. Most folks within the US are familiar with the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels, 6 bird formations, the Canadians were pulling off equally intricate manuvers with 9 ship formations.
I keep hoping to at some point catch the RAFs Red Arrows, the Italian TriColour Arrows, Japan's Blue Impulse and India's Surya Kiran air demonstration teams.

Yeah, i saw these guys at the gatineau, Ontario air show. They are amazing! And when they played chicken, it was probably the scariest thing i have ever seen in person.
I'd love to see the blue angels if not the snow birds again.
Acrobatic flying with jets is always awsome nomatter the group.

I have had the enjoyment of watching them three times, no it was four times. They always please those in attendance. I would say they are as good as if not better than the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels it's a toss up. I think they are more fun to watch because they keep things in closer to the venue.
Great shot, Rabbi. The sun was your friend, that day.
I was just reading about the SnowBirds this morning in Shutterbug magazine. Coinkydinks.
