Pfft, I'm a fan of the original Ghostbusters and nothing this movie did made ME mad. I think some people just invest too much of themselves in their favorite media. Don't think a movie should be remade? Just... don't watch the remake. Find your DVD of the original and enjoy that instead. It still exists.
It was just too disrespectful to Sony to exclude Ivan Reitman from being able to do anything with it. The movie itself is average, but what really got most people so angry was when Sony called them misogynists for criticizing the CGI, or just not wanting to see it. That was the stick that hit the beehive.
