I did it again. Another undead Feda-Lide character for my Dimensional Shadows setting. Sorry, dunno why but I really have something for undead characters lately. This is Aella and she's a skeleton and I love her.

Aella is one of the oldest Feda-Lide that ever "lived" in Illiad. She's been around even before the establishment of the United Mikaruian Territories of Illiad, during the Time of the Illiadian Kingdoms. Before her death, she was married to her Tribe's Elder's son, Boreas sa Vefithi. The bracelet she tends to wear on her right arm was his engagement present. They also had a son, Zeph sa Vefithi. She also acted as a representative of her tribe and diplomat at the court of the Gurian Kingdom. Thus, she also was an aristocrat. Her Tribe was well respected by the Gurian king, and thus had a lot of power within the Gurian Kingdom. She became a Tirrdaka at age 30 after beeing attacked by Rerrikan, Ree-Maian bandit.

Eventually, other Ree-maian tribes within the Gurian court were starting to become a little jealous of the Vefithi-tribe's influence. Eventually, another diplomat from another tribe decided to take things into his own hands; by murdering important people of the Vefithi-tribe. Aella was killed by him, while she was picking flowers for her son, who was bound to his bed after a sickness, with a blow to the head with a bottle. After that, the murderer wanted to move on to her husband and son, bus was caught, captured and excecuted before that could happen.

Aella's negative emotions regarding her death and her regret to leave her family alone led her to become a Type-F Feda-Lide, the Feral, animalistic kind who only exist to steal souls. She existed as one during the next 2000 years.

2000 years later, the Equality War of Illiad that would eventually found the United Territories broke out. The Vefithi-tribe, now led by the new Elder, Boreas, defected from the Gurian Court and joined Kashi Arrasse Kei-Rhai's rebellion. The now long-adult Zeph also started fighting with his father. At the same time, Aella was found by a Gurian patrol and captured to be used as a weapon later. But before that could happen, the Gurian Kingdom was defeated. Some Vefithi warriors found the Feda-Lide bound and chacked in the dungeon of the gurian castle and brought she and her cage to Boreas. Boreas didn't take it very well.

After about a day of thinking of what to do, Boreas decided to talk to Aella; even though it was pretty much sure she was long gone, judging after her agressive, animalistic behaviour. But... once the Feda-Lide saw her former husband, she stopped fighting and trying to get free... She completely camled down. Boreas talked to her for a long time... and eventually, a Miracle happened... She recognized him... and answered.

Her love for Boreas made the impossible possible: She reverted from a Type-F Feda-Lide to a harmless Type-H Feda-lide and her tainted soul returned to normal. She was a person again.

Boreas gave up his title of Tribe Eldest and gave it to his son Zeph a thousand years later, and even 5000 years after the War, both he and Aella are still alive. Both of them now live together on the Isle-Republic of Aisepa.



Other things:


- Aella has incredible knowledge on how to use Shadow-Ena. She even can create improvisional bodies out of them, resembling her former Ree-Maian or Tirrdaka-selves. These bodies function completely like normal bodies and can even eat food; even though she doesn't gain a lot of energy from it.

- Aella is already known in the communities she usually mingles in, so she often only uses these forms when she either wants to travel somewhere else OR because she wants to look nicer.

- She has absorbed so many souls during her time as a Type-F, she barely even needs new soul energy anymore. Only a little bit every few years.

- Aella is said to be an incredible cook; especially with Traditional Ree-Maian recipes.

- She had to redo her tribal tattoo that every Ree-Mai from a tribe has under their right eye, after becoming a Type-H, because obviously it disappeared together with her skin.

- Although she's pretty strong, she avoids fights at all costs. She barely even has been in fights in the last 5000 years.

- The marks on the top of her skull are her Feda-Lide seals; the spot where she was killed. It's her weak spot.
