I know how he was housed and handled. I personally rescued him, I had a friend, asked me to house his two adylt male ball pythons while renovations were going on in his home. He never came back for them and never paid for food for them. They were housed together (huge red flag with snakes) they didn't have sufficient heat and the heat they did have was unregulated (got too hot) and the other source of heat was a soft white household light bulb whiich provided little heat at the distance it was at and added significant stress because of the constant bright light. I am not saying that these two ball pythons weren't loved but I am saying that caring for reptiles is significantly different from mammals and I am glad Potato is with me and the other ball python I was able to rehome and see that he got proper vet attention.
Came off a little negative, didn't mean too, just I see snake improperly cared for and it really strikes a nerve
