Guilmon doesn't care. Heck, he'll even gobble-up the old bread that at Takato's family's breadshop/house that they can't sell anymore due to the bread o that kind not going to sell very well. Yes, Takato's family lives in a bread shop they own and run, so Takato is easily able to steal the old bread his parents won't miss not being there to sell. If you remember the early episodes of Tamers, Takato is trying to hide Guilmon from his parents, so he has to go fetch bread from the store so Guilmon won't get hungry. To make sure he does not hurt the family's income on sales of bread foods while keeping Guilmon fed, he used to fetch the old bread that failed to be sold in time, that nobody wants from the bread shop, when his parents were not looking. If you also remember a single early episode of Tamers, Jeri says to Takato's parents: "I wish [b][I/b] lived in a bread store!" which then Takato's mom (who has her name never mentioned in the English dub of the anime, but she DOES have a proper name surprisingly. I think it was Mei? I could be remembering the name wrong...) replies: "You get used to it...!" so even if you knew very little about that season of Digimon (given the only Digimon that are well known on the Internet due to the Digimon fandom dying down, are the ones commonly used for sexual reasons or shipping. The list of them are: Renamon, Guilmon, and Impmon.) if you've at least seen that early in the season, you'll know about everything I am talking about. It's a real shame really that Digimon's popularity died down so low that the US missed out on some Digimon games for more recent game consoles... And the fact that a Digimon Roleplay site I used to go to frequently, lost allot of members due to that popularity drop. But *siiiighhhsss* it's to be expected...it started as a Tamagotchi for guys who like battles toys before we got Anime and games of it...and like the typical Tamagotchi (btw, Tamagotchi is a coined word of the Japanese words for "friend" and "egg", hence the round egg-like shape Tamagotchi toys had.) the fandom has died down to almost nothing...
