This is for reference to show what the cash box is for.
It is so it is easier to get the money out and also so that the cash box can be locked down so if it was out in the field and a technician needed to work on it you don't have to worry about the money walking off.
The cash box also handy so there are not quarters rolling all over inside the cab that might short something out.
