Thanks. There's a landmark skyscraper here in Boston called
the Prudential Building that I adore. This is ssssort of similar.

With the Minoan bulls on the side, it's like a giant vase. It's a coliseum, but it plays with the way I think of buildings containing crowds and limits their ability to escape.

Dis is a big city and the bullfights are extremely popular.

Oh god, that's beautiful! It's so... wet. Wet light is always a delight to see done well. And so many details to pick up on.

The Crete: 2050 style combined with a very Spain 1800s story (twisted into lord knows what) stirs the mind wonderfully.

Not sure if you're familiar with Warhammer, but this gave me a sort of Inevitable City kind of vibe due to the arcane symbols and the sharpness of the building top, and doorways\entryways. The occultic artistry on the building brings a neat mix of shining mystery and dark delirium to it, I think. I guess I'm a fan of whimsical stuff like that.

I'm sure I should go read the narrative, but I've already envisioned Minoan Crete as a steampunk setting, so maybe it's not necessary?
