I learned to love this thing as the vulture, the game devs had the weirdest boner for this mech in the mech warrior games

It's a very powerful but very fragile OmniMech. I have had SOME success in it but I'd rather have the Hellbringer/Loki or a Cauldron-Born instead for a Clan Heavy. .... Probably surprised I didn't say Mad Cat, eh? ;p

Why are you getting it into straight up fights? when it isn't getting into slap fights with catapults across the battlefield, the mad dog should be heavy support for your flanking mediums. That's basically what it is, an overloaded medium. As for the timber wolf, you seem to like your glass cannons and flankers when it comes to your heavies.

I admit, I do. Power overwhelming with high speed is my favorite combat doctrine. But I'm not taking a Linebacker with my Hellbringer and Cauldron-Born, it has such little firepower.

I actually do; I find it to be a good complement if I need more armor. The Tibber gives me the impression of a pocket assault 'Mech.
