Character design commission for  multaur

I've had this character on my harddrive for over a year and despite having a color palette given to me to work with, I had no design inspiration whatsoever. Then the other day, the commissioner was looking up things online and found these rather gorgeous stones and asked if I could use one of those instead of the color palette I was given. Since they looked rather gorgeous, I couldn't say no.

This was the result! The actual character is sort of a mix of lynx/tiger/clouded leopard with similar markings from each. The blue markings are iridescent in the sun and shimmer in many shades of blue in the sunlight.

As of right now he doesn't have a name, but I'm sure he will soon enough!
