Wandering aimlessly through the dark woods, the night was eerily silent, even the crickets seemed to have ceased... He walked further yet, the moonlight spilling through the trees and dotting the trail ahead... As he drew closer to the clearing before him, he could feel his heart jump to his throat, pounding with every step... Destiny was calling, would he find that which he has searched for his whole life? Or be it merely another false intuition... slowly he comes to a stop in the middle of the clearing, shaking in anticipation as his eyes adjusted to the low light... It was his destiny, he could feel it, the completion to his soul... He slowly openned his eyes, and the horror before him sank deeply through his entire being... There in the clearing lay his other half, breathing heavily, his last breath drawing near... He fell to his knees as he reached down and embraced the beast's enormous head, hot tears streaming down his face, for he had come too late, and all that remained was the few breaths of his Soul's End.
