So back in June,  Azakir and I took a road trip to north Wales and did many awesome things, including visiting a few castles and climbing one of the highest mountains in Great Britain. We also made a friend. The guest house we stayed in while there was absolutely fantastic and run by a pair of warm and friendly hosts who contributed heavily to making our trip as wonderful as it was. One of the hosts enjoys photography as a hobby, and has taken it to a level of producing a series of self-published books to showcase vacation photos. The photos are assembled to form whimsical stories when experienced through the eyes of Theta Bear, a cute travelling polar bear plushie with a distinctive and dashing red scarf. Azakir and I greatly enjoyed reading through Theta Bear's various adventures over a couple evenings in the guest house bar, and after a long and friendly chat with our host we experienced the great honour of meeting Theta Bear himself the next evening.

In tribute to the noble and esteemed celebrity that Theta Bear is, the friendliness of his keepers, the beauty of north Wales, and an all-around wonderful journey, I have produced this. The landscape draws heavily from the photos I took while scaling Snowdon, and I will admit to allowing the video game 'Journey' to inspire the behaviour of Theta Bear's scarf a bit.
