Serpent on the outside, dragon inside
Chloro, a young female Serperior living in Sawdust. With both of her parents having found themselves a quiet occupation you'd think this one would too.
Nah.
You see, dragons are stereotypically, but truthfully considered to be bold and cocky. Her Haxorus dad was the opposite, but both traits reemerged in his daughter. Chloro is an odd mix of someone caring, yet competitive, and so she found herself to be a perfect fit in Sawdust's explorers' guild. With barely a few years of experience, she was reassigned from her old team to a newly formed Geostrike. She initially thought she'd lead it, but the fourth member unexpectedly turned out to be someone both from far away and much more successes under his belt, a Garchomp named Zaph. Despite the initial anger the change caused, Chloro later accepted her "second in command" role, on top of her usual.
Chloro inherited more than just slight appearance quirks from her draconic father. Compared to an average Serperior, she's slower (still speedy compared to others), but her skin is definitely thicker, especially on the back. She has slightly greater physical strength, although she prefers not to rely on it too much. Her most surprising move is Dragon Breath. Foes who stop even a second because of her piercing glare often catch the full power of these paralyzing flames. She's grown to use and like this move the most, but besides a wide array of grass type attacks, she knows a bunch of moves and tricks. Not all Serperiors are born with fangs, but this one has. Her body, besides curative ointments, can also produce a venom that incacipates opponents. Several other compounds can be synthesized, for fighting off a toxin, give a boost of energy or otherwise influence how another's body works. This snake bites and hope that she does it to heal you.
Leaf shapes exist in a few variations among Serperiors, so Chloro's knifelike aren't completely unique. They can fold closely to her back or fan out. They're commonly used for her Leaf Blade, but can be detached and unexpectedly thrown at a high speed. Like the vines concealed behind her "collar", they regrow after some time, faster if she stays in sunlight.
Because she doesn't like being up close, any protection taken with her mustn't hinder her movement. This here is the most she'll ever take, should she deem that today's not the day for getting bruised too much. The bag holds medicines that she can't synthesize and other first aid items. Flares have been in use not for long, but they quickly spread among explorers. They serve as a light source for everyone and a cheap replacement for a fire type attack.
Despite sarcastic comments about the armor's shape towards the back, it's better to haul any findings on that rather on naked skin.
Do give her a chance and you might just find her to be a dedicated, if somewhat of a jerk friend.
