It was all going so easily. The traps were simple to spot, the locks easy to spring, and the monsters easy to avoid. The plundering pair found the hoard without even breaking a sweat.

And then the alarm went off.

Deep resonant drum beats rumbled through the stone passageways and the cries of beasts rose up all around them. The two grabbed as much as they could carry before bolting. Their escape brought them to a long rope bridge they had cautiously crossed earlier. The pounding steps of their frantic escape set the thing to wobbling, old ropes strained and frayed. Eyes went wide as the bridge snapped.

Salix made it to the other side with a leap and whirled about to grab hold of curvy companion. He grunted as all her weight settled upon his wrists as she smacked into the cavern wall, her chest cushioning the blow and setting her plunder to rippling and rattling. Salix blinked, staring at that treasure for a moment, certainly not at all that cleavage... Tifa's cheeks colored and she shouted.
