Guilty as charged, but that expression is just sooooooo fitting for wrath, that I cannot help but use it for wrath XD Admittedly I'd rather come up with my own material, but I am hard pressed to do better than that XP
Plus, Dragon Age Inquisition rocks (thougb I am NOT Corvidious XP ), and I love referencing it. I should get some things done with Mag in it, I bet Mag would fit the role of Inquisitor nicely (so long as the power given is surrendered when no longer needed, but that digression, and a discussion on the pursuit of power may be for a different venue XP )

I suppose it is a gift, and a curse, since it one of the things I like to do to inspire "bad ideas" along with helping people find excitement XD
Well, I must confess that when I played through, I went through as a Qunari in my first play because, well, humans are common and boring XP I just didn't prance around without a shirt on like Iron Bull, but the interactions XD In many ways the Iron Bull acts like Veterans I know, which makes him insanely entertaining to me.
XD It makes me think of kind of a series actually, Mag and Scarlet start off as enemies. Having heard nothing but the word spread from the Chantry that Mag caused the breach, she seeks to purge the perceived evil from the world. After a moment of challenge to the "abomination" Mag (for no honorable warrior would enter combat with another unannounced), a furious battle emerges between the two. Yet for all the fury of each of Mag's and Scarlet's attacks, they are equally matched and cannot outdo the other. Suddenly, a fade rift tears into reality, and demons (the rage and pride ones being my favorites), pour through the rift and charge the two combatants. Still believing that Mag is the culprit and that he opened the rift, Scarlet looks at Mag with searing hatred stating "I knew a fiend like you could not meet his end with honor", Mag looks at her in utter confusion, and begins a brief rebuttal, "Miss, I do not know what your grievance is, but whatever your hatred of me is", Mag is then interrupted by an approaching demon that he cuts in two from head to toe with one blow "we can discuss it later, I have bigger things to worry about now". Surprised at the unexpected demon slaying, Scarlet joins Mag in cutting a swath of destruction through the demons pouring out of the year, still eyeing Mag suspiciously as they cut their way to the fade tear. Upon reaching the rift, both are breathing heavily due to the fatigue of battle, and Scarlet, still not trusting Mag spits out, "Well, now what, fiend?". Mag raises an eyebrow, catches his breath, and states simy "observe". As Mag begins to close the portal, Scarlet is shocked by the scene, and while she wants to cut Mag down where he stands, for she does not know what the malignant looking energy from his hand will do, she cannot help but be curious about what will happen next due to Mag's actions in the slaying of the demons. After the blast that seals the rift, Scarlet scans the area slightly alarmed, and Mag seeing the confusion states "it is sealed, and will not re-open". Scarlet, shocked that Mag is the exact opposite of everything she had been told asks "But the Chantry, and all the things they claimed, and you...". "All lies", Mag replied "This wretched anchor was forced upon me against my will, and it is a power that is feared, perhaps rightfully so, but not that I am imbued with one of the weapons of the enemy, I will use it to end his mad quest for blood". Still processing this newly found knowledge, Scarlet asks (uncertain that Mag would trust her since only moments ago they were vicious foes) "And what of me?". Mag smiles and replies "Join our Iquisition to stop Corvidious. I do not think there is another warrior of your prowess amongst our ranks, and, judging by the exotic nature of your weapons and armor, I suspect you are skilled in more than just the ways of battle, and we could certainly use your expertise in the as well as the Battlefield".
Sorry to go so long on a comment, the story sort of just spontaneously came to me, and I had to let it out, even if it is in a raw, first draft, unedited form (I.e. the refinement level of the writing here would be what a rough sketch is on your end XD ), before it evaporated from the brain XD At any rate, if that sounds interesting enough to make into a series, I wouldn't mind a long term thing where the project is worked on as time allows XD Plus, it could end with a grand reception at Symbols, with whichever decor theme in game was your fav ... as well as a shirtless Iron Bull as well I guess XP At any rate, let me know what you think, hopefully it sounds interesting/fun/challenging!

Oh you're damn good at it!
Oh i started as a qunari too! Big horns, two hand sword, and reaver specializzation of corse :'D i just loved the materialistic and logic (but ironic) view of the world that the iron Bull has XD oh and how he get excited in front of dragons! Always telling jokes like "hey boss, do we knock?" in front of a fortress to conquer.
Had so much fun with him in the party.
Ahaha, I see an antivan rougue version of Scarlett messing around here XD I must reply with my best antivan accent then.
"hah, I'm not that skilled if a bunch of assholes from the chantry dumped me so easilly" Scarlett grinned enraged and her claws sparked for an istant. She quickly hid the hands under her back and turned to the inquisitor "well if you demand my services so politely I cannot but to accept, but I will join the inquisition at one condition. I want my headquarter inside the eastern tourret when we are back to Skyhold" then she offered her hand flowly "So, do we have a pact?"
Fun fact, antivans speak english with the same grammatic and accent italians have.
Oh damn, I already see Scarlett with a large smile hugging the iron Bull's jant arm and asking "can we keep him, boss?"
But anyway, of corse I'm in!

Ah, thank you! XD After 15 years of writing, I should have at least a modicum of skill XD
hahahahaha, likewise on the Reaver specialization, as I tend to prefer to take the initiative and attack, and the others were too defensive for my taste, so Reaver it was XD And again the idea of a dichotomy strikes, Iron Bull being someone who is loyal to the Qun, but lives in a materialistic was that is contrary to the entire Qunari religion, for the sake of the Qunari Empire XD How he maintain the balance (until his loyalty quest) must have been incredibly challenging come to think of it! But still, his excitement over dragons and humor in moments of danger were awesome XD
XD Well, I suppose since the accent and grammar of the Antivans is so close, it should flow quite naturally then!
I suppose I should add a bit of cloture to the tale then:
Mag returned the sly grin and grasped Scarlet's outstretched hand. "You drive a hard bargain, as I would expect from one of the fine nation of Antiva, but yes, we have a pact, the eastern tourret is yours".
Well, fun fact on this end, the baritone I have in my voice tends to match the voice of the Inquisitor somewhat, so it seems the respective voices fit the characters XD
XD And I can see Mag exasperatedly saying "If we must" whilst rolling his eyes at the request (which is all really just an act, because he'd already in his mind agreed, Mag just likes giving folks a hard time XP )
Cool XD I am excited by the prospect then, and will look forward to the time whenever it's this ideas turn (as I know there's quite the line of ideas to go over first XD )
For now, however, sleep! I have completed the chasing of the Lieutenants, and am finally back in my barracks room, so it is time to sleep for the next two years (well, probably the next 12 - 16 hours, this latest field exercise has been extremely draining, but fun nevertheless XD )
