Okay, this is a near exact example of the chapters of the story, this one is kind of what is going to happen the first little section and end little section are to give some insight to the host, and the assistant... Any way part 1 of 3 introduction of competitors (Spots still open to submit just go Here ----> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20741679/ <----
And yes they arent too social, and do imagine being up at 4:00 AM after a flight/boat ride or some form of travel so they arent too chatty the names will be in part 3 (When the host announces contestant names.)
Onto the story....
"Sir it's only 3:35 A.M. Why are you acting like everyone is late?" A snow leopard said holding a clip board surrounded by various others trying to get him to sign confirmation papers, liability waivers, insurance policies. Once he finally had a free moment he had his full focus on an above average size dire wolf.
The wolf looked at the leopard with a glare, "Showbiz has a different schedule then everyone else." He looked around stretching his neck around mumbling a little bit to himself trying to make sure he was vocally ready. "Besides in the schedule of time being early is almost being on time, being on time is fashionably late, and being late…" The wolf grinned showing off sharp teeth then cackled a little. "Well being late in showbiz just calls for some fun punishments that many will most definitely not like."
The leopard stood his ground a bit a bit unnerved his boss did that, but he knew that there was a little chance anything would happen. The wolf's phone started to ring and he cleared his throat a bit before answering. " Florence Syngrid… Yeah, the planes arrived?.. Good, is everyone here?..." Syngid's ears went down and his eye started to twitch a little.
His voice deepened a little as he was gritting his teeth while talking, "Are you sure they will all get here in time?..." His free paw started to clench and release trying to keep himself contained. After a few seconds he ended the call and crushed the phone. "Sven, get over here." The snow leopard rushed over as fast as he could. "Yes Sir?" Syngrid pointed to the cell phone in pieces on the ground.
Sven picked it up fast and left for a moment, a few seconds later he came back with a box with another cell phone in it. "So things off to an okay start?" Syngrid sighed and started to walk over onto the pier, "No, things are not off to an okay start." he then grabbed Sven and pulled him close and began to whisper in his ear.
"I want you to be sure everyone gets here on time, bribe people, threaten them I do not care, get the competitors here on time so we can get things going, and I can dish out some fun that may or may not be fun for them." Syngrid then pushed Sven away and curled up his tail a bit and lifted his head sniffing the fresh air of the island.
Sven quickly made his way off to ensure the competitors arrive. Syngrid turned his head at the last second to see the leopard before he went out of visual distance and sighed thinking to himself 'I will have my fun, screw the damn ratings, I am going to be sure these worthless shell husks suffer as long as they are here.'
Flakes took his first few steps off the play and stumbled a bit, taking a few deep breaths and regained his composure and made his way over to pick up his luggage where he quickly opened it and grabbed the brush. "Come on, come on, come on…" he said trying to brush some floof in the tail to make it look puffy a bit again after it was flattened during the duration of the flight.
After a few strokes and his tail was back to a bit floofy, he relaxed a little and saw a small group in the group he was a bit confused he saw a robotic looking thing, a strange thing of floating shapes that had what looked like a head, body, arms and hands, but no legs, a grey and white caribou with sky blue markings outlined in black, and an anthro beagle wearing an orange jumpsuit and a metallic right arm analyzing the floating material trying to figure out how it is holding a shape with no connections, and a white arctic wolf with light blue muzzle, arms, belly, and tail tip wearing a dark blue jacket.
Flakes figured he could probably at least see what is going on as soon as he gets there he seas a snow leopard step up, "Okay everyone do you have the envelope?" everyone looked around in various luggages and bags and all pulled out the envelope with the seal of the show on it. The leopard looked around. "Okay good, he then looked down at a clip board.
"My name is Sven, I am the head intern of the show, now I am not the one that wants to give you the name of the show, that and we are quite short on competitors that we might have to delay the show even longer." The second Sven said that the headset he was wearing started to screech at him, Sven took it off and rubbed his ears a bit. "Sorry about that, any way I have set you all up a hotel room, this will be a home-base except in the case of a punishment, any way rest up and snack or whatever while I go off and look to get the others here before I get fired for pretty much nothing." Sven sighed and motioned for the group to follow him.
Flakes ran over to the group slipping in the back, he wanted to try and communicate with the others, but he wasn’t too confident thanks to Sven's motivations welcome. The group stepped inside the hotel of the island, it was much bigger then any of them expected on a fairly small island compared to the islands around it.
"Hello, welcome to DelSparrow Hotel how may I help you?" Sven looked at the receptionist and smiled, "Hi, we have rooms reserved for fifteen, but these are the first to show up." The receptionist typed into the computer checking to make sure there was fifteen rooms booked, but had no one in them. "Well we have it, but for security purposes, we need the reservationer's name." Sven rubbed his head a bit.
"The reservation is under the name Syngrid Malone." The receptionist nodded, "Okay are you going to hand out the keycards?" Sven nodded, the receptionist returned it and reached down under the desk dug around and grabbed a few keycards based on the descriptions of the competitors. "Here you go sir, we hope you all have a great stay." Sven sighed and motioned the group to follow again.
The group stopped at the first door that was next to a computer room, "Okay you have numbers on your letter look at it and tell me if yours matches… 619." No one said anything at first, but the Beagle made his way up to Sven. "That would be mine." Sven handed him the card and then motioned for the group to follow. The group stopped by another room and this one was next to a coffee shop.
"Oh I would love to have this room, come on please be me." The caribou said looking over at the coffee shop, Sven smirked, "594…" The caribou jumped around with a bit of joy. "Yes, yes, yes. This one is mine." Sven shrugged and handed him his keycard, "Okay calm down, they are all fairly the same in décor." The caribou kind of ignored him as he grabbed the key and then made his way over to the coffee shop. "Oh coffee, okay well lets move on." He again got the group to move on to another room again he read out the card number and waited for one of the competitors to claim the card.
Sven happy that the group was dwindling faster and faster, the beagle went first, the caribou went second, then the humanoid robot even though he never spoke the claim of the keycard he just went up and grabbed it. Sven went further not really paying much if any attention to the group, he just wanted to get through the last of the group so he can focus on his hunt for the rest of the competitors before Syngrid chews him out, both figuratively and literally.
He stopped at another door and said he keycard number again and this time the floating mechanical looking apparatus grabbed the card and went inside Sven smiled thinking he was down to his last one, but when he looked down at the keycards in his hand he mentally re-counted the group. "Wait a second."
Sven turned around and looked at Flakes and the arctic wolf, he knew for sure the arctic wolf was a competitor, but he wasn't sure about Flakes, "Why are you following the group?" Flakes shrugged and pulled up the envelope to show Sven he was a contestant." Sven scratched his head a bit and shrugged, "Well at least that is one less problem." He then looked at the letter and read the number and handed the card to Flakes.
"Yours is the last room…" Sven looked down at his watch, "Oh damn it, I have to go, Umm you can find the room yourself, it is just down that way." Sven pointed the way to the room Flakes was to go, he then handed the arctic wolf his keycard and quickly made his way to the front of the hotel. "Well that was strange." The wolf said before unlocking and entering his room. "I wonder if they have mini-fridges stocked!" He then went in and opened it up and froze.
Before Flakes could see what the reaction was about the door shut and clicked shut. Flakes shrugged and looked down at the keycard. "Really how freaking lucky do I have to be to get this one… Well, good thing I am not superstitious." Flakes shrugged and went down the way Sven pointed him in and managed to stop in front of the door. Flakes looked over at the number plaque on the side of the door. 'Room 666'.
Flakes sighed as he tried to slide the keycard in the reader and it beeped at him, Flakes tried again, and yet again the reader beeped at him, Flakes tried turning the card around, again it beeped at him again, he tried sliding slow, sliding fast, he even poked it into the slot. Every single result was the reader beeping at him.
Flakes was about to give up until hit his head against the reader and nearly giving up on care about the thing working it suddenly clicked and unlocked the door, Flakes sighed and leaned against the door opening it and walking in slowly closing the door behind him.
"Well this is already off to a good start, maybe things will get better." Flakes sat down on the bed looking at the clock on the night stand read. 4:45 AM "Fifteen minutes and then we get to get the information we need for this 'game show' it might be fun I guess, I would love to move, would be so nice to find a perfect spot that is nearly same temperature year round, fairly moderate winds, ah…" Flakes started to close his eyes imagining the place before he heard a knock at his door.
Flakes quickly snapped back into reality and opened the door, he looked left then looked right and saw no one was out there, he shrugged and went back inside, he went over to the television and picked up the remote he sat down on the edge of the bed and was about to turn on the T.V.
Yet again there was a knock at the door, Flakes was a bit annoyed because it was still somewhat early in the morning what would they want. Flakes looked out the peephole and saw no one, he then opened the door again, again there was not a soul in sight, he looked right then he looked left and sighed.
During the sigh he had his eye open and saw an envelope on the ground in front of the door. Flakes picked it up and saw it wasn't really addressed to anyone or from anyone. He shrugged and opened up the envelope and found another letter.
Dear Contestant,
This letter is a raffle entrance to be something special for the show, so keep it for when the show starts, you might love what happens.
Flakes turned the paper around and saw the number 666 on it as well, "Oh of course, keep up with the damn circumstantial bull, I am sure who ever is doing this is laughing." Flakes sighed again almost figured to crumple the letter and watch T.V. or enjoy a nice snack from the mini-fridge.
Sven looks at a few monitors that show the competitors in their rooms getting things settled in, he reached down under a desk and pulls up a walkie-talkie, "Okay the first six are set and ready, I am still trying to locate the others, I am sure they will arrive on time, if not well I need to know you are ready with the fillers, I really do not want to be chewed out by Syngrid again." Sven then clicks a button on the monitor and sets the video to record. "I think these will be good use for later."
And yes they arent too social, and do imagine being up at 4:00 AM after a flight/boat ride or some form of travel so they arent too chatty the names will be in part 3 (When the host announces contestant names.)

Thanks, "Everyone" will be ready for the show to start, but the faster the spots fill the sooner I can have the next chapters up... This one had spent a bit editing, but overall 42 minutes to write and this was a little over bare minimum. And yeah, hadn't had his morning coffee yet and how lucky to have a room next to the coffee shop. Once everyones introduced and things get under way, thats when the feature chapters start.
Yeah Syngrid is fuming fairly bad with 6 of 15, he wants to string out humiliating or insane things, but it will be quite hard for so few and his short fuse is perfect set-up for a few things... To be fairly honest the not filling up so fast is actually helpful a bit, gives me the opportunity to show adaptability to writing situations and also do a few things I have not thought at the time. like one surprise Twist that will be coming a bit later that I thought of just reading this comment.
Yeah Sven took a short straw in something he 'Was' supposed to be a host for, but thats showbiz, Sven wasn't sadistic/egotistical/Rating driven enough so they forced him to work with a 'Professional' host.

No worries, You didn't miss much... I figured do a little 3 part thing to sort of do small advertisement bumps/reminders... Yeah things get lost in the sea of images and I would hate to spam ad for something I could have easily written with or without others and for free so instead of spamming the same thing I figured express how the story will kind of go (Prologue and part 1 was Flakes perspective 'primarily' part 2 Sven's Part 3 and the official closing of entrees is going to be Syngrid's/audience) This way I can do dynamic ad and it's not as "annoying spam" feel to it.
That and felt like showing adaptability to situations.
