Nope! Quite the opposite, actually. Gooey characters will actually CEASE dripping, unable to be gooey anymore!

Possibly! I would imagine that after absorbing enough, he would.. But I'm not sure how long he holds the characteristics or if he has enough control to release the ones he doesn't want anymore.
