Character Background:
There are places in the world where the gateways between the physical world and the sprit world are thin. Humans often build temples in these places to attract spirits like the Shisa. In return for a safe sanctuary to experience the physical world, the Shisa exchange knowledge from their perspective, and in later generations also offer guardianship. For years, Alya made a temple such as this into her home, but all physical things must be able to function in the mundane world, (money, food, etc.). Unsure how long it would be before her sanctuary would be abandoned, a mysterious figure enters into the picture making promises and bringing in students from afar. As time passes, Alya questions the teachings of the mystery woman, noticing subtle hints that the teachings are destructive and traumatizing to the eager students. On the one hand, Alya longs for a stable home in the physical world, on the other hand, in this level of corruption, no peace will truly flourish. Alya is torn, she finds a way to hold back total destruction, but at what cost? Might it be better that their precious temple falls in ruin to be reborn? Deep in her heart, she knows the right thing is to bring it all down, she must be brave for transformation to take place...
Shisa Ornament Info
Each Shisa measures about 2 inches tall and 2 inches wide. From sculpting, to casting, to hand painting, these pendants are all done by my own hand, so you can be sure that much love is poured into each of these unique critters. They're cast in a sturdy resin which is then hand painted in acrylic and pastel. Afterwords, they're sealed in a protective varnish and a ribbon best matching their colors is added for easy hanging, hopefully in a place where they they can be good guardian critters!

As for the amount of customization, I can modify the bases, but do not take from-scratch whole new sculpture commissions. Usually I can get fairly close to the overall look of other breeds, but yes, obviously there are going to be some breeds that just fit the base better than others. If you send an email or message, I'm happy to show you more examples of pieces which I've altered into different breeds :)
