ugh this is all the progress I have so far on my updates on the anteater animation but I actually like it quite a bit. tomorrow I'll be working on a different scene. I really wanna color this soon, but my art block and senioritis has been really debilitating. :/
apologies for it being so hard to see, the cameras and software here SUCK.
Edit: UGH I hate perspective. I'm gonna try to fix that sidewalk when I ink and color it. But for now I'm really only concerned about the animation.
Tell me what you think?

I saw that, but thought it was intentionally toony.
The timing is quite nice, though where the anteater lands might be just a bit out of the TV safe area. It's might be the sidewalk - but I think the staging could have been more extreme. Maybe you could have had it as though the camera was down on the ground and the anteater lands just in front of that. Other than that, it reads pretty well.

i wish i could go frame by frame, but yeah, like most said. when he hits the ground... that could use a lil work.
i like the bg the way it is. its like cartoony and stylized. i think it would be cool if the bg was pushed higher and to the right so we could see more of the street. it would give you more room to work with.
then when he was thrown out he could bounce on the floor, flip in the air, land on his neck with his feet above his head and kinda slide a bit, before flopping down on the ground.
right now, i dont think you should be worrying about detail. i can see all his fingers and stuff and i think that maybe if it feels like its taking you forever to animate, maybe you should simplify your character a bit and just get the basic animation down. then when the animation is convincing you can go back and detail it.
hope that helps ><;
