Awww thank you. Yeah, I try to hold the design as close to the real thing as I can, but the personality may not be right on, special for Penelope since she normal would run for her life then cuddle with him. But had to do something about that so the comic could be "romantic" :P
I'm not sure of that. The cartoons "For Scent-imental Reasons", "Little Beau Pepe", and "Really Scent" all depict Penelope harboring an attraction for Pepé. Merchandise often depicts them as mutual sweethearts, too. Regardless, you're take on defining them as acting differently off camera is excuses enough for me.
