After seeing the Shadow Mewtwo from Pokken Tournament, almost immediately came up with some vague offset of this strip idea. Evidently, just never thought the joke to be that funny, and still kind of don't. Falls rather flat and it communicates poorly. Brain wasn't in the mood for trying though.
As the general mechanism to get a Shadow Mewtwo is probably stabbing giant corrupting crystal into his heart, I figured I'd go off of that premise. It looks like a Dark type as an end result. Of my Mewthrees, I have two Dark types. One is Vicebane (red), and the other is Mewblade (black one). Mewblade has tons of spikey blades in her (not why she's a Dark type), so figured that she would be the best ambassador for scary, crystal stabbing Dark type evolution. Go figure that the rest of her siblings don't quite want to volunteer themselves for it, regardless of how potentially powerful or awesome it might make them. Girls seem more worried about their appearances though. Maybe this is why Mewblade is the Legendary Pokemon of my Mewthrees; she's more than willing to put up with the requirements to be so powerful.
Real quickie. Mewtwo cut-away is from one of my own, existing images. Kind of hard to fit so many Threes into panels though.
