OMG CAMWHORE i am ashamed :<
Anyhow now that that's done with.
I found some more of my antique keys! This is just a small collection of what I own, but I have decided these are the ones I am willing to part with.
I noticed a few liked my key necklace, and I have been messing around with making steam punk jewelry (If you cant tell by how I dress, I am SLIGHTLY obsessed)
I will be making each one of these into necklaces, with some added charms. I may even sculpt peoples characters to wrap around the base of the key if desired. They are all authentic Antique keys I have purchased directly from antique stores, some date back to early settlers in aus ectect :D
So if anyone is interested, let me know, I need some guinea pigs to make some for! I am thinking around $20 - 30 for the keys with charms (I have some nice brown carved beads that I am going to add) ect, and around $60 for the ones with sculpted items (I will make a preview one of those soon for myself!)
My camera is broken, but I will try and get a much better shot of all the keys laying down so people could choose what they want before I work on them :)

OH god, I love antique keys. They are one of my fav things to collect if I come across them. X3 I actually wear a small one around my neck as a necklace <3
I think it would be cool to incorporate one with some gears and other things into cool steampunkish jewelry. :3

hehe, I actually have one in the works right now for myself with some watch gears and hands. I love that kinda stuff. I have a REAL weakness for skeleton keys and cogs especially (and antique clock hands). Its hard to tell, but in the photo I am wearing a ornate brass key, I wear it everywhere XD

I only have five keys as of right now, the one I wear is a small barrel key that my friend found in a burnt out old building (I was told it was a hospital but I don't know if that is true or not XD) So it has a lovely dark tint to it. Out of he rest the only notable one is the one I have doubled the jailers key. Its the largest antique key I've found and I have no conceivable notion on what one would use it for unless they were locking a jail door or maybe a large gate XD
So yeah, I am interested in getting one of your lovely key accessories X3

I tend to find them quiet allot XD I pretty much know some of the shop keepers in my area now, so they sometimes hold aside the more interesting ones for me if I ask when they come along. Some antique stores have utterly none, or only gigantic ones, there is one out of the way one I know which I am literally a kid in a candy store at XD (where I got these ones). They cost me quiet a bit to buy, but its worth it in my opinion hehe.
I desire a key. I refuse to be left out! O.O To be honest, nothing's more awesome than having a creepy antique key around your neck when you have to take off your over-shirt to do some hard work with your coworkers, and when they ask what the key is for, blatantly dodging their question. Makes 'em start talking. :3

A friend of mine used to work at the tower of London. he had a great moment once where the yeoman of the guard while performing the ceremony of locking the gates broke a 200 year old key in the lock.
He mentioned it was highly amusing watching veteran soldiers who could on any normal day break a normal person in half all stand around looking incredibly sheepish until a lock smith turned up.
