Well with the designs showing in their normal 3/4th profile it actually looks more like how I intended it. As an added bonus, after showing a design people were worried about, this more cartoony look will probably seem like an incredible compromise that they will quickly embrace *Giggles*

you're right rick this is a great ballance. and after taking a glimps through your scrapbook and seeing what grape looks like in this style i'll happily say i suport this change! everyone looks so adorable

*embraces* Yes, I think this is the proper way to change the style a little while still keeping with the feel of the comic.
I also think this works as a demonstration, because we can see the differences when they're next to each other. In the old comic style, it would have been almost imposible to tell them apart visually. Now, they're very distinct.

Nice comic and characters. Only two details are nagging me.
1- I think their eyes are cold and blank. Bigger pupils would make them more friendly and cuter looking.
2- I don't know if there is plans for a female character, but it would balance the cast and add another dimension to the strip (I'm thinking in a platonic way here).
Anyway, you're a pretty awesome artist and this is a fun comic.

I honestly enjoyed the new style more than the old. It added some depth to the characters, and made it far easier to tell characters and species apart.
This compromise definitely works, though, and you should go with what you like. I liked all three versions, so they're all cool with me.
