Just curious, you scult it in the colors you want and get them printed from Shapeways?
How much does it cost you to do? I have been looking into it and would love to know a bit more

In Zbrush I use polypainting to paint the colors directly on after I sculpt it. Since you have to have lower polygon count before you send to Shapeways, I use the decimation master with the 'keep and use polypainting' turned on. This way it will keep your polypainting and decimate based around the color so you will still have it look nice but with lower polys. Doing it this way is easier than making a texture map because you can only have one texture map for an entire model for shapeways 3D printing. Different things (body and clothes etc,) can have textures but they have to share the same 2K texture map. so it's just easier to use polypainting :D

Thank you, do you remember about how much it cost for this model?

it was roughly $40 to print for the coated full color sandstone. but I've found that the price can greatly differ for even a half inch size difference.
