Here's the reason I've been gone so long this year :'D
This was the first con I've ever attended and it was waaay better than I could have hoped for. The past 6 months was mostly rushing to save up to make a couple fursuits to attend Kuroneko Con 2016. I went as the mascot, Otaku Cat, and my friend who flew over to go with me went as his sona Jace. We attended both days last week and my god I WAS DYING IN MY SUIT IT WAS IN THE 90'S I WANTED TO DIE. srsly tho I took the head off and it looked like I jumped out of the shower.
I wasn't expecting so many positive reactions to the suits because of the media's portrayal of "furries" but we got so many people who would run up to us and ask for pictures ;v; Unfortunately, though, I was unable to use a camera wiTH MY BIG FAT KITTY PAWS so I've been stalking tumblr, instagram, FB, etc for anything I can.
Next year I'm planning on going as Guilmon now that I have the hang of fursuit making (i think?) so I will be selling the cat suit soon so keep an eye out if you're interested.
