Xavier has an older sister (by 2 years) a younger brother (by 3 years) and a younger sister (by 8 years). He goes to a public high school. He lives in a large house in the city. His family is middle class. His mother is a scientist and his father is a higher up in a just starting out business. His parents are often working, his mother is home more often than his father as his father travels for work. His older sister is a gifted student and follows in her mother's footsteps as a scientist. She is enrolled at a prestigious private school and is often away teaching classes or helping her mother. His younger brother is showing great potential as an athlete and his younger sister is a rambunctious tomboy who can’t sit still. Xavier is often in charge of caring for his younger siblings in the absence of his parents and his older sister.

Xavier is an amazing artist and a failing musician. He has a keen eye for the visually appealing and takes quite a bit of time examining the world around him and finding beauty in unexpected places. His artwork is in a manga style mixed with surreal elements, although he has talent for realistic portraits and landscapes. He plays the trumpet at an average level, and persistently attempts to write his own music with little success. He struggles eternally with math and science and, although he comprehends language and history, his extreme dyslexia makes it very hard for him.

Surrounded by brilliant family members, Xavier often feels subpar and worthless. His parents see no worth in art and therefore he doesn't see his artistic abilities as something to be proud of. He is very jealous of his sister's success and subsequent gain of all his parents attention. He is extremely hard working and never gives up. He spends a lot of time meticulously studying to try to keep his grades up, although the best he can do is keep himself from failing. He won't take help from anyone as he thinks it would undermine a success.

Xavier is extremely introverted. He has few friends, but he is very attached to the friends he has. He spends a lot of time alone or in the company of one good friend, any time he spends with more people is extremely uncomfortable for him. Despite this, he isn't shy, he has no problem talking to strangers or the like, he just prefers not to. He is honest, kind, and trustworthy.

He enjoys snow, and winter. His favorite color is lavender/violet because one of his first memory is sitting in a garden full of purple flowers at his grandmother's house back in California. He uses purple frequently in his art. He likes watching anime, but only to study the art and animation. He loves all kinds of music.

He dislikes being wrong and hates being criticized. He doesn't like loud or busy places. He is terribly afraid of horses as he fell off of one when he was little and it traumatized him. He doesn't like being deprived of sight or sound, so is afraid of the dark and of silence. Meaning he is a 14 year old with a night light and a white noise maker. He hates it when people pity him or offer to help (to him the two are one in the same).
